We’re in the process of evaluating new LMS platforms.
What were the top 3 factors that influenced your final LMS selection? Bonus if you can share what ended up mattering most after implementation!
Was it ease of use, cost, or something like integrations? Help us prioritize.
Scalability, API readiness, and pricing model were our top criteria. But in hindsight, support quality became our 1 pain point. We wish we’d evaluated that more thoroughly during selection.
After go-live, good support made all the difference in fixing small issues fast.
Customization, role-based automation, and white-labeling were key for us. We use our LMS for both employees and partners, so flexibility was critical.
What mattered most later was the automation – cut manual work hugely.
We had to prioritize private cloud hosting due to client data sensitivity. Surprisingly few LMS vendors offer that without pushing you into an enterprise pricing tier.
After, it gave us peace of mind for compliance audits.
UI/UX is absolutely non-negotiable. If the system isn’t intuitive, people just won’t use it. Also, flexible reporting, our last LMS locked us into canned reports with no customization.
Ended up mattering most post-implementation – saved us from low adoption.
